2025-2026 BCE BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

The BAMtheatre Conservatory Booster Club is thrilled to offer a need-based scholarship(s) to a deserving student(s) who may not otherwise be able to participate in the BAMtheatre Conservatory programs due to financial constraints. We truly believe this program should be accessible and open to all students that love musical theatre and have the desire to further develop their theatre craft. Full and partial scholarship(s) may be available each year based on availability of funds in the BAMtheatre Conservatory Booster Club budget.

The BAM Conservatory Ensembles (BCE) offer professional training programs throughout the academic year for students who want to excel in musical theater performance. There are multiple levels to the program for students in Grade 2 through High School: BCE Prep, JrBCE and BCE. 

Anyone planning to audition for the BAMtheatre Conservatory programs that are entering 2nd through 12th grade during the 2025-26 school year. The applicant (household) must be able to show one of the following: 

● Household is currently experiencing unforeseen financial hardship.

● Household is currently receiving Federal or State assistance programs (ie SNAP, Free/Reduced Lunch, TANF, Income-Eligible Medicaid, Homeless/Refuge). 

• Combined household annual income is at or below 300% Federal Poverty Line. Refer to FPL Guidelines for details.

Submission of this application is not a guarantee to a scholarship award. You are only able to receive a scholarship if and only if you are accepted in one of the BAMtheatre Conservatory groups through the audition process. Once a scholarship has been offered, it cannot be transferred to a different applicant and the scholarship funds will be paid directly to BAMtheatre for the Conservatory program only. The Scholarship offer is void if the applicant is not accepted into one of the 2025-26 BAMtheatre conservatory programs.

Complete the application which can be found HERE. The application also requires an uploaded parent/guardian acknowledgment signature form, financial documents and a reference. Google Form applications and all other documents must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm, Friday, August 1, 2025.

The Scholarship Panel will review the individual’s application, documents provided, essays from the applicant and the personal recommendation form. The applicant’s name, and all other identifying information, will be removed from the application, the application will be assigned an ID number, and submitted to the Scholarship Review Panel for blind review based on rubric provided to them. The Review Panel will not contain any Booster members or BAMtheatre staff, but will consist of multiple community leaders. The recipients will be notified by Friday, August 15, 2025. The Scholarship Recipient Winner(s) will need to make sure they are registered to audition for the BAMtheatre Conservatory Programs that will take place August 24th. You will only receive the scholarship if and only if you are accepted in one of the BAMtheatre Conservatory groups through the normal audition process. Scholarship offer is void if the applicant is not accepted in one of the conservatory programs at BAMtheatre.
